I am currently a Royal Society University Research Fellow, and professor, at The Ogden Centre for Fundamental Physics, Durham University.

​

Previously, I was a Morrison and Hubble Research Fellow at the University of California, Santa Cruz (2012-2016), and a Junior Research Fellow at Peterhouse, Cambridge (2011-2012).

 

I did my PhD at the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge (2008-2011) under the supervision of Prof. Max Pettini and Prof. Donald Lynden-Bell. My undergraduate degrees are from the University of Sydney and the Queensland University of Technology. I grew up in a touristic city called the Gold Coast in Australia, famous for its beaches, rainforest, and surf culture.
